The story of Kelly Hughes Designs…

One could say that the concept of Kelly Hughes Designs started back in 1984,when at a very young age,I decided to design &sell cards to friends and family.  After many years,the concept of whimsical cards has returned.  I graduated college with a degree in Fashion Design.  I was fortunate to have my first “working”experience after college to be with famous London fashion designer,Zandra Rhodes,from whom I learned a great deal about being an entrepreneur.  I then spent 10 years in the retail industry as a buyer and account executive,and was anxious to get out on my own and put my creative side to use.

I started Kelly Hughes Designs as a small “side”business in 2002.  Two years later,and after the birth of my first  daughter,I decided to jump in full time.  It has been a whirlwind since,with the addition of a second daughter and a son,and a business that has grown as quickly as our family!  I have a lot to be thankful for,including my  husband,who helps me with every aspect of the business,and my dedicated team who pays close attention to every detail and keeps our office lively.  I am passionate about my business and I hope that you enjoy my products as much as I do!

Kelly Hughes Designs is dedicated to creating high quality stationery and gift items with style!  All of our original artwork is done by hand with watercolor paints and our cards are produced on high quality stock and are packaged with a pretty ribbon.  They are  perfect for gift-giving or when you just want something special for yourself!   We hope that you have fun with our many designs.
